| | Born in Iowa on Oct. 17, 1887. Mrs. Berns was long time resident of Los Angeles with a home and studio at 654 North Crescent Heights. While driving through the valley in 105 degree heat, she died of a stroke near Fresno, CA on Sept. 3, 1950.
