Biography from The State Museum of Pennsylvania:
| No formal art training. Worked as a painting and decorating contractor for 40 years. Took up art after his retirement in 1959. His paintings were made from his drawings of historical landmarks around Dauphin County, Pa.
His paintings were exhibited at the Harrisburg Art Association; the Lebanon Valley College of Art Show; the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts (Hagerstown, Md.) and the Fort Hunter Museum.
