This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Isaac Broome (1836-1922
He was a prolific sculptor who lived and worked in the Trenton, New Jersey area around the last quarter of the 19th century. He is most remembered for his magnificent porcelain and pottery sculptures that he worked on while at Ott & Brewer in Trenton. Among some of his most important works are very large figures of the Nation's new pastime, Baseball. These were on exhibit at the 1876 Centennial celebration held in Philadelphia. Those are now part of the Smithsonian Institute Museum.
