This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Jann Eiland Burnett earned an AS degree at the University of Texas in Arlington and a BS degree in English and secondary education from Texas A & M in Kingsville. She also did graduate work in art education at the University of Oklahoma in Normon.
Burnett paints using watercolors in a method of pouring rather than brushing that she learned from an article by Jean Grastorf.
