| | Born on Nov. 25, 1870 in Franklin, TN. While learning the trade of lithography and engraving, Brandon studied painting with Clifton Carbee in Boston. Upon moving to California in 1925, he lived in Monrovia for four years before settling in Sacramento where he remained until his death on Dec. 9, 1958.
