John Baldessari was born in National City, California on June 16, 1931. He studied at San Diego State College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1953, and a Master of Arts in 1957. He married Carol Wikom in 1962, and they had three children. He was an instructor at the Fine Arts Gallery, San Diego, San Diego city schools, San Diego State College, La Jolla Museum of Art and Southwestern College; Assistant Professor of Art at University of California at San Diego (showing 500 of 2748 characters). |
