Born in England, John Byrne was raised in Canada and became a comic book artist in the mid 1970s. By the 1980s, he was working for Marvel and then DC and was "among the most popular and successful men in the business". His specialty was super heroes including "Spider-Man", "The Hulk", "Daredevil", "X-Men", and "Superman", which in 1986 he was asked to revitalize. This resulted in a six-part miniseries called "The Man of Steel", which brought him a lot of publicity.
He studied at the Alber (showing 500 of 786 characters). |
