| | Born in Dannemora, Sweden on Jan. 2, 1859. Bromark came to the U.S. in 1870. He studied at the AIC and for 15 years worked in Chicago as a portraitist and fresco painter. After a few years of farming in Iowa, he moved to California in 1903. He established a apricot and peach orchard near Fresno and continued painting in his leisure.
