| | Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia on April 16, 1902. Bergmann studied art in Berlin before moving to San Francisco in the 1930s where she joined her brother Franz. About 1940 she stopped painting and exhibiting. She continued living in San Francisco until her demise on March 13, 1993. She was then known as Karola B. O’Shea. Member: SF Women Artists.
