Kathy Buist, who grew up on a flower farm in Michigan, lives in New York City and has her studio in Ocean Grove, New Jersey. She travels often in search of the unspoiled, natural vistas that inspire her abstract paintings of "water, mist, shores, fields and hills that transition gently into the ethereal skies that dominate her images."
Many of her subjects are inspired by her time spent on eastern Long Island and along the New Jersey shore. Her subjects include the Montauk o (showing 500 of 1385 characters). |
