Kuehne Beveridge   (1877 -  )

Born in Springfield, Illinois.  She was a pupil of William Rudolph O’Donovan, New York, and Rodin, Paris.  Exhibited in the National Academy, New York; the Royal Salon, London; and Salon, Paris.  In 1900 she was living in Paris.

Kuhne Beveridge was born in Springfield, IL in 1877. By 1891 Beveridge had a studio-home in San Francisco. At age 16 she wed Chas F. Cogland. By 1900 she was studying in Paris with Rodin. After her marriage to Wm B. Branson in 1903, she was active in the art scene in London, England while maintaining a home in Johannesburg, Africa. Exh: Mechanics' Inst. (SF), 1891; Paris Expo, 1900; National Academy of Design (New York City); Royal Academy (London).
