| | Born in Lincoln, NE on Aug. 18, 1906. The Kemmerrer family moved to San Francisco in 1907. LaBess studied at the CSFA and later married Edward Brash. She worked in San Francisco as a fashion artist from 1928. Mrs. Brash was a resident of Belvedere, CA until her demise on July 18, 1995. She was the sister of artist Vernon Kemmerrer and daughter-in-law of artist Viola Brash. | Source:
