This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Submitted May 2004 by the artist whose website is http://www.bleulake.com
Influenced by Impressionists and Pop Artists Larisa Blonski twists and reaches for her own unique approach to what art can become in the minds of the viewer. Art according to the artist is a form of communication that engulfs the soul and captures the mind.
At an early age Larisa Blonski was exposed to the masters with weekend trips to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and the artists found in the streets and galleries of SOHO. During a career that spans more than twenty years this artist develops techniques and views that imprints a unique stamp of creative genius.
Larisa Blonski was raised in the foothills of New England and moved between the rural and metropolitan world between the social and economic elite and the hardworking rural community of her heart. Also influential is the extensive inspiration from world travel and the people she meets.
The images Larisa Blonski produces is a testament of impressions of emotions and images that are observed by a vivid imaginative stoke of the brush and sense of color and shapes played upon the canvas.
Today Larisa Blonski creates her art between Connecticut, Florida, Georgia and New York City.
