| Born in Chicago, Illinois on April 27, 1907, Leslie Binner studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and with Claude Buck after their marriage in 1934. With her husband, she moved to the Santa Cruz mountains in 1943 and in 1959 to Santa Barbara where she lived until her demise on June 28, 1991.
A highly skilled painter, her works compare favorably to those of her husband's.
