Biography from Crocker Art Museum Store:
| Painter, illustrator. Born in Santa Rosa, CA on June 6, 1902. 'Lonie" Bee studied at UC Berkeley, CSFA, and CCAC.
His illustrations appeared in and on the covers of such magazines as Cosmopolitan, American, Woman's Home Companion, Collier's, Woman's Day, and Saturday Evening Post.
He died in Berkeley, CA on Feb. 21, 1995.
