Lynn Bishop was born in 1944 in Chicago, Illinois, and moved with her parents to Girard, Kansas in 1951. She loved to draw horses as a child, living next door to a horse farm, and dreamed of pursuing a career as an equine artist. However, while taking art classes at Kansas State Teachers College, Pittsburg, Kansas, from 1963-1964, she was discouraged from pursuing her desire to focus on horse art, and changed careers from art to v (showing 500 of 5762 characters). |
