| | Born in Byron, CA on Feb. 4, 1881. Maude was the wife of Nelson Bellows, a railroad conductor. She advertised as an artist in San Jose in 1907-15 and Los Angeles in 1929. She died of a stroke in San Jose, CA on Nov. 1, 1939. Her watercolors show the influence of her teacher, Lorenzo P. Latimer.
