| Milton Bellin, nationally renowned artist and formerly Assistant Principal of the New York High School of Art and Design. Bellin's estate donated some of his works to Vassar College.
He studied at the Yale University School of Fine Art in New Haven, Connecticut (B.F.A.), and with Yasuo Kuniyoshi.
Exhibitions: Corcoran Gallery, 1939; Connecticut Watercolor Society, 1938 to 1953, winning prizes in 1944, 1945, and 1946; Springfield Art Association, 1928, and 1937 (prize); New Britain Institute, 1938; Museum of Modern Art, New York, 1940 (prize), 1952; Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts, 1941; Norwich Art Association, 1946 (prize); Audubon Art, 1946, 1947; National Academy of Design, 1950; Lyman Allyn Museum of Art, 1951; and others.
