| Living in Louisville, Kentucky in the 1930s, he was most likely a member of the Belknap Hardware family. Morris Belknap endowed a Fine Arts chair at Berea
and a Gallery at the University of Louisville among other philanthropic
endeavors. He exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Salons of America in 1923, and the Pennsylvania Academy in 1932.
Belkap created works depicting the struggle of man versus nature, among others.
