This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Please note: Artists not classified as American in our database may have limited biographical data
compared to the extensive information about American artists.
Parisien born, Nicole Blanchard, known for her colorful depictions of Parisien street scenes, grew up under the artistic influence of her father, painter Antoine Blanchard. Together they would walk the streets of Paris, and she developed a fascination for the pulse of the city and the year-round activity of its inhabitants.
She studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts and has exhibited in the major Salons of France.
