Nixford Baldwin
20th century
Nixford Baldwin — painter, mural painter, sculptor, and etcher — was born and resided in Springfield, MA. He was a member of the Springfield Art League; the Stockbridge Art Association; the North Shore Art Association; the Gloucester Society of Artists; and the Provincetown Art Association.
Baldwin exhibited and won prizes at the Springfield Art League and the Stockbridge Art Association, 1936. He painted a mural for the United States Post Office in Fayetteville, WV and worked as WPA artist.
