|  Born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Ora Baker studied at the Layton School of Art in Milwaukee, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Art Students League. She painted in the Fort Worth and Dallas areas and in Dallas was the Director of the Highland Park Art Gallery.
