Born in Scarborough, Yorkshire in northeastern England, Peter Brooke was early inspired as a wildlife sculptor by English artist, Ralph Thompson. Later in his career, he began sculpting the human figure, and in 2004 won the Gold Medal for Sculpture for a figural piece, "Michael-Standing" at the California Art Club's 94th Annual Gold Medal Juried Exhibition.
Brooke took a one year post-highschool course on illustration and then earned a bachelor's degree in television and film production (showing 500 of 2043 characters). |
