He paints in an abstract style with an emphasis on shape color, and texture and in a representational style, creating genre, florals and still-lives. Bove has lived in New York, and then in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts

Brooklyn Academy of Fine Arts 1938-39; Pratt Institute 1939-42; Art Students League 1946-51; Brera Academy, Milano, Italy 1951-52; Pratt Institute - MFA 1954
