| Born in 1930 in Youngstown, Ohio, artist Robert Bidner did photo
realistic paintings, drawings, and prints that focus on specific time
periods in America through a detailed examination of American
architecture and vintage automobiles.
Bidner’s work has appeared in numerous solo and group shows, most
recently in the 40 Year Anniversary group show at Gallery Henoch in New
York City. His artwork has been reviewed by critics of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, The New York Times, and ARTnews
among others, and is collected widely by museums such as the Columbus
Museum of Art in Columbus, the Andrew Dixon White Museum of Art, the
Canton Museum of Art, and the Westmoreland Museum of Art.
Robert Bidner died in 1983 in New York City.
