| | Born in Vallejo, CA in 1856. Benjamin was in Boston in 1885 and by that time was an accomplished painter. By the mid-1890s she had returned to California. With a home in Napa at 807 First Street, she was active in the art scene in San Francisco until the earthquake of 1906. Her still lifes and figure studies are rare. Exh: Calif.
