| | Born in Madison, WI on Dec. 12, 1879. Ball studied at the St Louis School of Fine Arts, Cincinnati Art Academy, and with J. Liberty Tadd in Philadelphia. Settling in San Diego about 1918, she established a studio in Balboa Park and later served as curator of Indian Arts at the San Diego Museum. She died in El Cajon, CA on Dec. 12, 1960.
