| Born in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 11, 1867, Bons (né Bonquois) settled in San Francisco in 1892. He worked as a chauffeur, salesman, lithographer, and at one time had an art studio on lower Market Street. He died in San Francisco on December 22, 1944.
