| Known for her "double bubble" technique, Sonja Blomdahl makes spherical and hour glass shaped vessels.
She began working in glass in 1972 at the Massachusetts College of Art
Boston and then studied at Sweden's Orrefors Glass School. She
then became Dan Dailey's teaching assistant at the Pilchuck Glass
School in Seattle, Washington.
