| An Indiana painter and teacher who worked in East Chicago and Schererville, Stanley Bielecky studied at the Art Institute of Minneapolis and the Art Institute of Chicago. He earned a B.A. from Valparaiso University in 1952 and attended Indiana University from 1947 to 1952.
From 1937 to 1943 and 1946 to 1952, he taught at the Extension Division of Indiana University and later taught at Indiana University.
