| Painter, etcher. Born in Reading, PA on Jan. 10, 1890. Breneiser studied at the PAFA, in NYC at the ASL and School of Fine & Applied Arts, and in Europe. He headed the art department at Santa Maria (CA) Union High School and Jr. College for 26 years. After 1945 he was director of the Hill & Canyon School of Arts in Santa Fe, NM until his death in 1953. Member: Pacific AA; So. Calif. Art Teachers Assn; Laguna Beach AA; College Art Club, Santa Maria (Pres). Exh: LACMA; Museum of NM. In: College Art Club (Santa Maria). Sam; AAW; AAA 1928-33; WWAA 1936-56; WWPC 1951.
