| Thomas Bird was born in Ireland in 1832. By 1869 Bird had moved to San Francisco where he painted scenes of the Golden Gate, Alcatraz, and Cliff House. He died there in 1874.
Exhibited: Snow & Roos Gallery (San Francisco), 1869; San Francisco Art Ass’n, 1872.
