| | Born in Clayton, CA on Feb. 1, 1852. Bromley graduated from UC and by 1880 was an established artist in Oakland. During the latter part of his life he lived in the neighboring city of Alameda at 1518 Pearl Street. He died there on June 12, 1947. He was the brother of artist Virginia Bromley. His oils are mostly landscapes of northern California.
