| | Born in Salem, MO on April 28, 1867. Brewer was educated in the Fresno county schools and at Stockton Business College. Settling in the small town of Selma, CA, he worked as a druggist and designed the original seal for the City of Selma. He died in Los Angeles on Dec. 15, 1925. | Source:
