| The daughter of Joe and Sharon Beeler, Tracy Beeler has not only been influenced by one of America’s premier western artists and co-founder of the Cowboy Artist of America, Joe Beeler, but also Sharon Beeler, a painter in her own right.
Most art students would be envious of Tracy’s art education, technical and appreciation classes that started from the day she was born. Under the critical eye of her father, Tracy not only learned how to develop her drawing and sculpting abilities but also learned how to do them correctly. Tracy further developed her abilities and techniques during a five year stay in Florence, Italy working and studying with such artists as Bruno Lucchessi, Giancarlo Biagi and Patrick Hamilton. She has also taken classes with Glenna Goodacre, Fritz White, and Jon Zahourek.
Although Tracy was exhibiting in galleries by the time she was nine years old, Tracy’s first major show was sponsored by the Arizona Bank in 1980 and heralded a piece titled As Free as the Wind . In 1983, Tracy won the Best and Brightest Award for sculpture and since then has had numerous shows to include Ratliff Williams, Dallas Museum of Modern Art and Woolaroc Museum, L.D. Brinkman Museum and many others.
