| From Maine, Tressa Benson was active as a teacher in Chicago through 1952, and from 1925 to 1930 taught at the University of Nebraska School of Fine Arts in Lincoln. In 1943, she had a solo exhibition at Joslyn Memorial Museum in Omaha.
