| | Born in Wisconsin on Aug. 2, 1908. Vivian Fricke began her art studies at Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles in 1928. She studied painting, costume design, and sculpture. Following her studies, she taught at Ethel Eaton’s School of Costume Design and then taught china painting at Mount St Mary’s. The wife of Gilbert Bohrer, she died in Los Angeles on May 19, 1985.
