| | Born in Texas on May 18, 1902. By the 1930s "Willabee" Brodie had settled in San Diego where she studied painting with Everett Gee Jackson. For 36 years she taught art at Point Loma High School. A spinster, she died in San Diego on Feb. 15, 1980.
