| Born in Ohio on Dec. 14, 1865. Brenner grew up in Annapolis, OH and at age 15 was apprenticed to a photographer. He was in Virginia in 1901 and had a photography studio in NYC in 1910. By the 1920s he had settled in Los Angeles. He died there on June 2, 1960. A skilled painter, his works are rare.
