| | Born in Indiana on Dec. 17, 1873. Behne settled in Los Angeles with her family in 1886. She began painting as a child and by 1892 was earning her living as an artist. After her marriage in 1894, she was known as Zetta Richardson. She remained in Los Angeles until her death on June 23, 1964. Her work includes nudes, pastorals, florals, and landscapes. Exh: Calif.
