(Miss) A. M. (Allie May) Carpenter, born 1887 at Prairie Home, Missouri, died 1978 at Denver, Colorado, daughter of Mason P. and Katie Carpenter, was a noted artist, craftsperson, and educator. She worked in a wide variety of media, including oils, pastels, watercolor, printmaking, design, etching, china painting, interior design and decoration, and tapestry.
