| | Born in California in 1856. Cummins was active in Humboldt County in the 1880s and 1890s. He maintained a studio in Eureka in the Ricks Bldg at Fourth and F streets. He painted landscapes of Mounts Lassen, Shasta and Ranier, marines, redwoods scenes, and portraits. He died in Mendocino, CA on Oct. 8, 1919. Exh: Calif.
