| Primitive mural painter, Alfred Cohen was a settler in Kentucky before he was age 20. He emigrated from France and was born in Bordeaux. Alfred Cohen allegedly painted murals in homes of Woodford County, during the 1830's. Shortly after he moved to Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
