This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, Alfred Czerepak became a noted landscape painter of Rockport and Gloucester, Massachusetts. He attended the Vesper George School of Art in Boston and graduated from Massachusetts College of Art in 1955. He traveled and studied in Italy and Mexico, and for 15 years was a teacher at Monserrat School for Art in Beverly, Massachusetts.

He was noted for taking students to places such as the town dump, where he taught them the beauty of ordinary things, bits and pieces from which they could derive inspiration.

He was active in the Rockport and North Shore Arts Association and had studios in Rockport and later in East Gloucester.
