| | Little is known about Alpheus Cary except that he was prominent in Boston during the first half of the 19th century. In 1837, he was one of the judges at the first exhibition of the Massachusetts Charitable Mechanic Association, and there are numerous monuments by him at Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston and Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge. |
