Sculptor, Ann Currier, is best known for her abstract ceramic work and
has dedicated a significant portion of her career to art education.
Currier was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1950. She first
attended the Art Institute of Chicago in Illinois where she received a
degree in the Fine Arts in 1972, followed by the University of
Washington in Seattle earning a Master’s in 1974. She was awarded
a Visual Arts fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts in
