| | Born in Syracuse, NY on Aug. 11, 1866. Clark graduated from Syracuse University, continued at the ASL in NYC under Twachtman and Chase, and with Whistler in Paris. He joined the faculty at Stanford University as a professor of art in 1892 and taught there until 1931. Clark died in Santa Clara, CA on May 15, 1948. Member: Palo Alto Art Club; Pacific AA; Calif.
