| Arthur D. Clough was born near Stockton, CA on Oct. 8, 1887. Clough settled in Los Angeles in 1897. He grew up in San Pedro and began painting coastal scenes before studying at the Otis Art Institute. He died in Los Angeles on July 15, 1958.
