| Arthur D. Clough was born near Stockton, CA on Oct. 8, 1887. Clough settled in Los Angeles in 1897. He grew up in San Pedro and began painting coastal scenes before studying at the Otis Art Institute. He died in Los Angeles on July 15, 1958.
Exh: Golden Gate International Exposition, 1939; Allied Arts Guild (Sierra Madre), 1939 (1st prize); Santa Paula High School, 1939 (prize); Flower Fair (LA), 1940; Mountain View Gallery (Altadena), 1957.
