Painter, lithographer. Born in Hoy Ping, China on May 4, 1896,
Lee began his art studies in China. At age 18 he immigrated to
San Francisco where he spent two years studying English at the
Congregational School.
Having chosen art as a career, he studied for five years at the CSFA
under Gottardo Piazzoni and Spencer Macky. He spent 1925 in China
with his family, married, and then returned to San Francisco.
During the 1930s he exhibited regularly and was e (showing 500 of 1211 characters). |
