Christin Coy is a landscape painter that has lived in Marin County, California since 1981. Born in Norway, a country with many traditions closely relating to nature, Christin developed a deeply rooted sense of appreciation and love for the outdoors. With her family at the age of 14 she immigrated to California. Later attending the U.C. Berkeley Campus, she received her degree in Fine Art in 1974.

Christin has continued to be very active in the Marin art community and has studied plein-air (showing 500 of 1432 characters).
